Foundermatcha’s inaugural speed-pitching event was a great success!
Our event was oversubscribed with over 50+ in attendance, 20+ startups, and 8 investors.
Entrepreneurs had 3-minutes to pitch their companies followed by a 5-minute Q&A with a panel of VCs and investors.
AI was the overriding theme of the event; many companies see the potential of AI to offer specialised services to SMEs at a fraction of the cost.
Other notable startups included:
– a productivity tool for neurodivergent people
– an app to facilitate one-to-one human connections with people around the world to combat the global loneliness epidemic
– a digital map that utilizes data related to crime, CCTV, and lighting to help offer the safest walking routes for vulnerable people
Special thanks to Yuchen Xia, Glen Calvert, Philip Barnes and Octopus Ventures for being part of the panel! Also, special shout out to Elena Karpenko for organizing this event.
To us at foundermatcha, these events are a great way for us to connect like-minded people. This is the heart of our mission: connecting founders with the resources they need to build amazing companies.
Our next event will be held in September. Free tickets are available for startups with the best traction. Email us at hello@foundermatcha.com to apply.
